Megan Carroll

I am a multi-passionate serial artist creating home decor using my photos as a palette. I am deliriously in the flow when i am creating. I'm a lover of photography, mixed-media, encaustic, and applied art. Though the camera is my primary means of capturing images, the resulting photograph is the first step in my creative process. Essentially the photograph becomes my palette. Sometimes I reconstruct the photograph into geometric patterns or i loosely use the photograph as a foundation for a digital painting creating colourful and dynamic abstract pieces. I am also working on a new body of encaustic and mixed media photography pieces.
