I remember waking up most mornings to feel the cold floor under my bare feet. I would climb up on the stool to sit at the kitchen counter where the sun shined through and warmed me up. I would spend hours creating things with yarn, pencils, paints, glue, sticks, fabric. Today, I do mixed media, paint, photography, video and design. For me, artistic expression is the freedom to share the otherwise unexplainable things within you – whether it be sorrow, passion, gratitude or perplexity. I’m finding my way and learning as I go.
