Hello:

I am a textile artist that creates surface design on silk and cotton. Hand-marbling, shibori dyeing, stamping, stenciling, screenprinting, transfering images, monoprinting, bleaching and resist techniques are my passion; any process that will assist me in creating a unique mark on a white fabric canvas! I also construct needle-felted material from the shibori dyed and marbled silks. And it's been difficult for me to ignore or resist the world of digital art as it provides another totally fascinating method of creating art. Digital design allows me to explore and expand upon the myriad visual possibilities that swim around inside my head. So I have begun delving into and further developing my visions, designs and photography utilizing this art medium as well. The artwork on this site is a representation of my exploration in combining traditonal and digital design. Transfering designs onto pillows is a perfect way to display art. ArtofWhere.com provides us artists with a great platform and canvas (pillow covers, beanies and smartphone covers) to showcase and sell our designs. You can view some of my recent work below. Double-Click and the picture will enlarge.

Six years ago, my husband and I relocated from New York City to the colorful town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I am fortunate to have a great studio space where I try to work on a piece of art every day. Creating things is in my blood!
