The mission is to create a place where the artistic elements of the black experience can display the complexities of human nature. We are approximately one hundred years removed from the renaissance that took place in the streets of Harlem, New York. Ironically, views of the American Negro have again begun to mirror minstrels in blackface. Would not the words of Langston Hughes dispel those rumors? Did the paintings of Aaron Douglas not reveal a "New Negro" philosophy? We want to find these voices and create a virtual community of the same mind. Our goal is to create revenue. Rebuilding our neighborhoods will not be cheap. To do so Renasci Culture is allocating a percentage of all funds earned to these efforts. If we can create the resources necessary to invest in ourselves is that not the logical solution?
