Activating this option will give you the ability to edit the text whenever you order this product, without having to redo the design.
Make sure you keep any important elements outside of the bleed (red and hatched zones) in the lab template. For clothing, the preview represents the Large size most accurately.
You have not uploaded any images yet.
At any moment, you can switch to another product, and we'll keep all your uploaded files.
This section contains guidelines about how to properly setup your images for that product. It is important that you follow the guidelines when setting up your images if you want the best possible result.
We do not check each print file before the product is made. Please make sure your artwork is properly sized when creating your custom products or the product print result may be pixelated or low quality. It is not possible for us to reprint and remake an order due to incorrect artwork resolution.
Click Upload images to open the Images dialog. Inside the dialog, click Upload to start uploading your designs. Once uploaded, you can either click on the thumbnail, or drag and drop the images, to add them to the lab. Each time you add an image, it will appear as a new layer in the Layers section on the right.
You can add as many images as you want, but your computer might become slow if you add a lot of images. This is where you switch between the different templates, for the different parts of a product. For example, the Shorts label has 3 templates: Front, Back and Gusset.
You have to make sure you design all templates, or else you won't be able to save your design.
This section contains all the tools you can use to help you design your products. Some products have more tools than others, based on how complex the product is.

Warnings are there to help you make sure your design is of the best possible quality. If we detect that a template is not covered, or images are too low in resolution, the Lab will not let you save your product as this would result in a low quality product, and nobody wants that.
Layer DPI: Indicates the resolution of your currently selected layer. DPI is the ratio between pixels and inches. The higher it is, the better!
Recommended DPI:
Fabric products: 150 DPI
Paper and Wood products: 300 DPI
Layers DPI: Indicates that one or more of your layers is low resolution
Template coverage: Indicates that one or more templates are not covered
This is where the magic happens! Once you've added images to the lab, you can move them around, resize or rotate them.
When positioning your images in the design area, make sure you cover the full template while still keeping important design elements outside the bleed area (dashed) and safe area (red). Even if your design looks ok on the preview, design elements close to the edge of the template might still get cut off.
The text crosses over the bleed and the safe area. Even if it looks ok on the preview, it might get cut off on the final product.
The template is fully covered, and the text is outside the bleed and the safe area. The final product should look perfect!

We gave our Design Lab a makeover, and added a bunch of new features at the same time to help you design amazing products.
We hope you like our new Design Lab, but we also know that change can be confusing. At any moment, if you're lost, click on the help_outline Help button at the top, and then click on a section of the lab to learn more about it.
