Art of Where offers several different ways for you to customize your orders and decide how your products are labelled and packaged. Since many of the artists we work with take advantage of our drop shipping and on demand order fulfilment services, we know how important the right look and feel are for your package and more importantly, your brand. For this reason, we are very transparent about how your order will be packaged. Along with easy-to-use features like custom labelling in garments and pillows and our new artist card available for every product you ship, Art of Where elevates your artwork printed products as well as furthering your brand.
Here are all the details in what to expect for packaging, as well as explanations and templates for options to further customize your artwork printed products.
The Art of Where Sticker: Up until now, we have been required by law to identify ourselves as the manufacturer of the products we ship. However, as of November, we will no longer be required to ship items with the Art of Where stickers. Many of you have asked us to leave them off and we are happy to oblige. From now on, all orders that have a custom label or an artist card included will not be packaged with an Art of Where sticker. Instead, the bags will be sealed with a clear sticker. For wholesale orders and orders with no custom branding options included, they will still ship with the Art of Where sticker. So if you need your order to look like it’s coming directly from you, please include one of the custom packaging options and we will arrange your shipment accordingly. Return shipping address: Since we ship from multiple locations, we have multiple return shipping addresses. For now, our return addresses are set and cannot be changed. The return address for all USA and International orders below $800.00 value will be a PO Box in Champlain, NY under the name Art of Where. Any returned items due to wrong addresses or any other reason will be sent here. To reroute a returned parcel, please contact us.
We at Art of Where know that the first thing you need when making the leap into your own fashion line is a fantastic label. Your Brand is as important as your Art. For this reason, Art of Where is thrilled to introduce custom labeling. Now you can add your own label to any clothing items or pillows ordered either through drop ship (one-at-a-time) or wholesale. Take your art to a whole new level by branding your line of clothing and home decor items with your label.
Custom labels are a $1.00 addition for a drop ship order and free on all wholesale orders.
Art of Where is proud to stay behind the scenes and make your brand front and center. Here's how the custom labels work. Login to your account and click on our "Custom Labeling" option at the bottom of the left hand menu. Download and layout your label following the template provided. You can design each side the same, or design the front and back differently. Please watch for the seam allowence (bleed) that may be lost in the sewing and cutting. In following textile standards, we include a content/care/manufacturer label placed underneath your label, so it's nicely hidden away. This label can be easily removed without effecting your logo label after the items are received. In pillows, we will include the required manufacturer information on the inside of the pillow case and your label will appear on the outside.
We have fine tuned out production process to make adding your custom label a reality even when producing one item at a time. Once uploaded to your account, your design will always be saved. Choose from our options and have your label added for drop ship orders, wholesale, or all orders, or have us ask you at the checkout which orders require the labeling. When ordered, just like we print your items, we will handle making, finishing, and sewing in your label to each piece. Time to switch it up? No problem! Change your label design whenever you like for no extra charge.
Art of Where Artist Cards are exactly like a business card, only bigger. At a size of 5” by 3”, they are an easy and effective way to communicate with your customer in every order that you place. Let them know where to find you online, offer discounts from your own online store, or share upcoming products and specials. Your card can be anything you design it to be and are made to be kept. Printed on tough card stock, it’s a finishing touch that your customers will want to hold onto.
Artist Cards are $1.00 per card.
You will need to have an account with us to add your Artist Card. When logged in, find the Artist Card option at the bottom of the left-hand menu. Upload your artwork according to the template specifications as a jpeg. Choose from our pre-set options so you never forget to add your card to an order. Your card will be placed at the top of the clear bag containing your order items for all clothing and pillows, or inside the kraft box for silk scarf orders. If your order is for a phone case which ships in a mailer box, the card will be placed inside the box.
Bonus! You can switch your card as many times as you like for no extra cost. All orders with an Artist Card included will ship without the Art of Where sticker.
Art of Where now takes custom packaging one step further by offering stickers to appear on the outside of your shipment. The stickers are like our artist cards, printed with your artwork and kept on file for easy ordering. Now your customer can identify your brand before they even open the package! The ultimate in brand recognition.

You will need to have an account with us to add your Artist Sticker. When logged in, find the Artist Sticker option at the bottom of the left-hand menu. Upload your artwork according to the template specifications as a jpeg. Choose from our pre-set options so you never forget to add your sticker to an order. Your sticker will appear on the packaging of your order beside the shipping sticker.
Bonus! You can switch your sticker as many times as you like for no extra cost. All orders with an Artist Sticker included will ship without the Art of Where sticker.
You may choose to have your device case order packaged in a customized mini sleeve. A mini sleeve is a printed fabric pouch that snuggly fits the case and will snuggly fit your customers phone once the case is on it. This means your customers will be walking around with a carrying pouch customized with your name and artwork that they will want to keep and reuse.
You will need to have an account with us to add your custom sleeve. When logged in, find the Custom Sleeve option at the bottom of the left-hand menu. Upload your artwork according to the template specifications as a jpeg. To add your mini sleeve to your drop ship or wholesale order, simply check the box that appears beside your order in the checkout, or choose the setting to automatically add mini sleeves to your device case orders.
You can switch your design many times as you like for no extra cost.
